         In this week I completed the chapter 'The Jungle Air Crash' and started a new poem "On Killing A Tree" by Gieve Patel.It is a sensitive poem. It was very easy to make the students understand the theme of the poem. I put all my efforts to teach them poetic devices.They showed great cooperation and tried to understand all the poetic devices used in the poem. I had suceedess in this task because pupils responded correctly to my questions .Pupils response was good .I complete the poem and all the textual activities .

             On 18th November the school had opened Shashtra Park for the students inorder to develop their sjills and interest towards learning the science .The chief guesy of the function were Kazhakootam SI Shajahan ,BRC staff Binu teacher ,Principal Sudha ,PTA President Bindu ,Vice President Sudheesh Kumar.The Shasthra Park was inaugurated by HM smt Sulatha Kumari .

           6/01/2020 - 10/01/2020               In this week I taught them the new topics 'Relative Clauses'. Pupil were very active and they were eager to learn about relative clauses. I used various classroom activities.                     This week I continued grammar.I also taught them about Active voice , Passiv voice , Simple Present Tense & Passive Voice in Simple Present Tense. I used chart,activity card and a few slide presentations for making the class effective.Pupils were actively responding to the scaffolding questions.Their response gave me a sense of satisfaction. The students showed positive attitude towards learning the grammar. We completed some textual activities.           I was able to complete the second phase of teaching practice successfully.

            25/11/19 - 29/11/19             In this week I started the new chapter. 'The Last Leaf ' by O.Henry.This short story narrates the power of hope ,the spirit of friendship and sacrifice that help the people to survive adverse circumstances in the life .Pupils were very active and they were very eager to know the story . I used various activities for teaching grammar in the classroom.The students showed positive attitude towards learning the lesson.                                       On 28th November ,The school had conducted a special assembly.The students were provided opportunities for publishing their Constitution. The students of class 8,9 & 10 had published the Constitution. Students presented their rights in the Constitution.

                    2/12/19 - 6/12/19                                  This week I continued the same chapter. Pupils were very active and they were eager to know the story. I used various activities for teaching grammar in the classroom. Pupils were very actively responding to the scaffolding questions. Their response gave me a sense of satisfaction. We completed some textual activities related to chapter Pupils grasped the theme of the lesson .                        In this week I conducted a test paper to evaluate the performance of my students. Students performance was good. I completed this chapter. This week our optional teacher Swapna Ma'am came for observation.
